Which Tonemaster Twin for pedal steel ?
Which is better suited for steel...the black tolex with Jensens or the Blonde tolex with Celestions?

Twin reverb tonemaster
I just purchased a Fender Tonemaster Twin reverb and couldn’t be happier! I guarantee that you won’t play any venue that you need more power. Clean, Crisp Raw tone to the Bone! And it weighs on 33 pounds. Blackface all the way!
My 2 cents

You bet it will “Growl” like a big Brown Bear! We use or experiment with our arsenal of Stomp boxes. Being a newcomer to the PS Sport I try my guitar boxes that really have a different sound coming right out of the Steel. I am a Traditional Country type guy but my 20 year old son can play all the Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan tunes on his Stratocaster so he is really enjoying the different sounds that the Steel plays. Neither of us are where we need to be but hopefully in a year of practice we can upload some bars of our new found Sport.

I have a twin tone master black face and. I love it. Also have a Quilter TT 15 smaller than the Twin and 2 lbs lighter than the twin.
