I have not tried running it through a cabinet yet, but I can tell you in my opinion the onboard effects are absolutely excellent.

I have the powered Kab and it is well worth it for live use. Has never let me down. If I had a powered head, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the unpowered Kab.

I like all the Kemper effects. If you're into heavy ambient sounds and crazy modulated reverbs, etc, that's not the strong point. But standard 'verb, delays, pedals, etc are excellent.

Good luck....and reach out with any questions. It can be a steep learning curve, to start.

I used to have the powered Rack then Powered Toaster. Sold them and missing them. Now I’m seriously looking at the Profile Player!!! Has everything the rack/toaster have but limited to 4 etc sports at a time. Fits in a pacseat!!! $700. Looking for steel player comments but I think it’s too new. I haven’t seen any but guitar players are loving it

Danny I was just looking at the Profile Player as well... would fit on my pedalboard nicely --- this piques my interest as I don't need a heap of profiles, as most of the time I'm just playing steel ... Hmmmm I look forward to hearing from someone who has one and has enough seat time to give us some useful info
